Deep down, I started to believe something must be very wrong with me.

After regaining all the weight I had lost—for the third time—I slipped into a deep depression.

Anxiety took over. I rarely left my loft. Most days looked the same: nachos, candy bars, and endless cherry coke with Netflix.

I had an amazing assistant running my business because I couldn’t. I sought help from a therapist, a nutritionist, and a naturopathic doctor. I was spending thousands of dollars just trying to “fix” myself.

Finally, I was diagnosed with Disordered Eating.

That helped explain some things—but I was still stuck.

Then, one day, I discovered something that completely changed my life: Nervous System Regulation.

That was my lightbulb moment.


I realized there was NOTHING wrong with me. I wasn’t broken. My nervous system had been stuck in fight-or-flight for years, and food had become my survival tool. Of course I kept turning to it—it made me feel safe.

But guess what? Safety doesn’t have to come from food.

I dove headfirst into nervous system work. I even took a 6-month course. And little by little… my life started to turn around.

I began losing weight—without dieting.
I found healthier ways to cope.
I felt peace for the first time in years.

And that’s when I knew I had to share this.
